USP College of Education, Kodikurichi: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

USP College of Education is a private college of education located in Kodikurichi, Tamil Nadu, and was founded in 2008. This is a co-educational college affiliated with a university and recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and also, accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Located in a 3.18 acre compound, the college provide a single programme with total enrolment of 200 students. The faculty position is at 16 to assure the right student to teacher ratio was achieved. The USP College of Education aims at preparing quality educators and enhancing student’s performance in order for them to become relevant professionals in the education market.

The facilities which are available at USP College of Education include student’s amenities that encourage academic achievement as well as character transformation. A professionally equipped library is the facility for research and studies purposes. The campus includes practical and professional laboratories for applied training. Facilities that students may use to achieve physical fitness and recreation include sports facilities and a gym. It also has auditorium where functions and seminars are held thus, promoting the college’s active campus life. Students from poor background are able to connect to the school and IT infrastructure also provides them with digital learning aids. First aid facilities are provided in person through a health centre in our school. The campus cafeteria is also in place to facilities relaxation and fellowships among the students. Also, the college has transport facilities for students who commute to the institution to make it easy for them to get to college.

USP College of Education offers one full-time course, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This two-year programme must have an approved intake of 100 students per year which means there are 200 students within the two years. The B.Ed course for one, lays down the necessary qualities essential for the development of an ideal teacher, planner and facilitator. 

Admission to USP College of Education is done merit basis in compliance with the policies set by the state government, Union Territory administration and the university to which the college is affiliated. In some cases seats are reserved based on the candidates’ performance in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination. The college may also use other methods of staffing as may be obtained from the existing policies.
