USP Polytechnic College, Kodikurichi, started in the year 2009 and is situated in Tenkasi, Tamilnadu. The diploma in engineering disciplines is available at this polytechnic approved by AICTE. Located on a small land of 5.89 acres, the college has an aggregate student enrolment of 317 and it for its operational, it employs 52 members of the faculty. USP Polytechnic College offers six diploma courses out of which all are full time and offer specialisation in engineering. The institution plays a vital role of offering technical education hence, it has a focused curriculum and practical knowledge.

The college has several different facilities that aim at improving students’ educational experience. Among them one can mention the two storey library which stretches to 25000 sq. ft. This air-conditioned area accommodates the college’s entire book collection, bound volumes and current journal subscriptions, thus providing an environment suitable for scholarly study. It also cares for the health reasons and have sports facilities for students of the college. In efforts to employ advances in every field, USP Polytechnic College has modern IT facilities. As one of the facilities aimed at improving the students and staff comfort, the institution offers transport facilities. Every department has its laboratories where practical cases are provided for practical convenience. The campus also consists of a cafeteria, separate hostels for boys and girls and health centre with a first aid. In addition, the Training and Placement Cell endeavours to build connectivity between the campus learning and the corporate world with intense concentration on the placement aspect of students.

There are total six diploma courses offered by the USP Polytechnic College and all are the full time courses. These subjects offered are different engineering disciplines to make sure that the students have diverse field of engineering to develop their technical passions. In its total approved intake of students in all its courses, the college itself has a capacity to offer an education to approximately 300 students.
