Utkalmani Gopabandhu Smruti Mahavidyalaya, Sakhigopal, is an affiliated college established in 1976 situated in Puri Odisha. This is a large learning institution set on over 12.16-acres of land and has been in existence for well over 40 years. In total, the college has the total enrolment of 479 students and the faculty of 21, which leave a positive student-faculty ratio. The institute has  4 undergraduate courses  in total involving 3 different bachelors’ degree majoring in Arts, Commerce and Sciences. As an affiliated college, it falls under the umbrella of the parent University thereby is able to meet the high set academic Standards.

The college has many amenities to support teaching and learning amidst other facilities meant to improve the learners’ experience. The centrepiece of any academic facilities is the library armed with a rich knowledge base that enables student access to information. In the teaching and learning process, it exposes student to well equipped laboratories in Chemistry, Zoology, Botany and Physics. These are well-equipped with modern apparatus and are conducted by competent faculty members and trained technicians so as to educate as well as precipitate the students’ scientific curiosity. There is a total of 4 undergraduate courses in Utkalmani Gopabandhu Smruti Mahavidyalaya. Some of them are Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Science- Biology and Bachelor of Science-Physics. The total intake approved for B.Com programme is 128. It is a 3 years programme for all programmes which allow the students to have a cardinal understanding in fields of their choice.
