Vaagdevi College of Pharmacy, Hanamkonda, was started in the year 1997 and is one of the best institutions imparting pharmaceutical education in the state of Telangana, India. Run with permission from Osmania University, situated in Ramnagar, Hanamkonda, this co-educational institution occupies an area of 3.5 acres. It has the Pharmacy Council of India affiliation due to which quality education is provided in the field of pharmacy. The institute provides 8 courses across 4 degree programmes with 651 student intakes in total. The college has a strength of 41 faculty members to ensure that the student- teachers ratio is sustainable and reasonable to enhance learning.

There are total 100 intake seats in four years B.Pharma degree course, 60 intake seats in two years D.Pharma course & 30 intake seats in six years Pharm.D programme. In post graduate level there are 15 seats in each of the following courses of M.Pharma such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis. In addition, this college also provides not less than 10 seat for Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate course.
