Vani Sakkare Government First Grade College, Hiriyur was founded in 1980 at Chitradurga district of Karnataka and it is an affiliated college. This government institution is located on a 2.2 acre land and has been providing educational services for the larger community for more than forty years. It is affiliated to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) therefore promoting quality education in the college. Currently with a students’ enrolment of 1117 and faculty of 13 members it provides the learner with 6 courses in 3 programmes and course levels predominantly in arts and commerce.
