Varaha College of Architecture and Planning, Visakhapatnam: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Varaha College of Architecture and Planning was established in 2011. It is a public college located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. This co-educational college is affiliated and approved by the Council of Architecture and provides proper education to all students in the department of architecture. The campus is located at 57th Division, Narava, Visakhapatnam. The Institution offers only one course in degree level, which is B.Arch.

The college has several facilities to ensure that students develop their skills and character comprehensively. The central library is well-stocked with about 2000 books, comprising more than 400 titles on architecture, planning, and design. It also provides for CD-ROMs and audio materials, and also the facility of internet access with Wi-Fi facilities provided throughout the campus. As far as accommodation is concerned, there are separate boys' and girls' hostels for students which provide an excellent atmosphere for pursuing academic studies.

Varaha College of Architecture and Planning offers only one full-time course, the five-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program. The approved intake for this program is 40 seats, providing close attention and an intimate learning environment to students. B.Arch seeks to orient students with the proper skills and knowledge of architectural design and planning. 

The admission process for the Varaha College of Architecture and Planning is based on national-level entrance examinations. Interested candidates have to qualify themselves in the NATA examination for admission to B. Arch. Many institutions also accept scores of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main). Such a system of standardised tests at the entrance level ensures that only those with the right aptitude and skills get admitted.
