Vasantha Murugu Polytechnic College is one of the emerging Polytechnic college situated at Nagapattinam, Tamilnadu which started its functioning in 2016. This affiliated college acting under the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has gradually emerged as a preferred destination for students dreaming about engineering in the region. Located at Naladai Main Road Eachangudi, Sembanarkoil the college fulfills the need of employable technical manpower for industries with 3 diploma courses. This institute has an overall student intake capacity of 236 and faculty strength of 25, which makes it possible to focus individual attention to every student as well as provide diploma coursese him/her quality education.

Vasantha Murugu Polytechnic College provides three years of full time diploma courses with three years duration for each programme . These various courses are very helpful in ensuring that the students acquire a good groundwork on their respective fields of engineering- Mechanical Engineeering and Civil Engineering etc As for now, this college got the total approved intake of 180 students in all its programmes, but places 60 students for each course.
