Vasantrao Naik Shikshan Sanstha's College of Education, Jalna: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The Vasantrao Naik Shikshan Sanstha’s College of Education Jalna was started in 1985 which is well known for the teacher education in the region. This co-educational college is situated in Old Jalna, Maharashtra and it is the affiliated college which is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college is spread over a plot size of 2 acres including the academic buildings, and the college has the strength of 200 students and 15 faculty members. Being a teachers’ training college, the institution has only one degree programme known as the Bachelor Of Education [B.ED]. That is why the college’s main focus is on offering a broad spectrum of learning programs for its students. 

Contained in the big modern library that was replenished with 1000 books a year, the college subscribes over 100 current periodicals, electronic journals and databases. The library exists under the supervision of a committee, which includes the librarian and three faculty members to monitor the library materials meet the academic requirements of the institution. medical services for the students and staff, in order to assure the well-being of the college’s students, it has the following medical amenities for students: a first aid section with doctors on call. The campus also contains a clean canteen to provide healthy eating; the canteen has restrictions on carbonated drinks and junk foods.

The recognized institute under the Vasantrao Naik Shikshan Sanstha is the College of Education which offers only one course that is B.Ed course. This course can be undertaken on a full-time basis and lasts for two years, and was approved to admit fifty students. This course is developed to prepare the facilitators of tomorrow with the requisite skills and knowledge to enable him/her to fit into the teaching profession appropriately. Although the college has an emphasis on this particularised teacher training program, it also displays a comprehensive student education experience through the facilities and extra curriculum activities it provides.
