VB College of Education, Bhagalpur, was established in the year 2007. The co-educational college stands located at Deekshapuram, Bhagalpur, Bihar, over 3.52 acres. This affiliated college gained approval from NCTE to ensure quality in teacher education. It offers two regular courses: B.Ed and M.Ed with an enrolment of 225 students. The student-faculty ratio of the college is 225:6, which is quite appreciable, thus making the teaching environment much better.

VB College of Education, Bhagalpur has a number of facilities to enrich the learning environment of the students. A full-fledged library would serve as an information center and thus help students gain access to ample learning material in different streams. VB College of Education offers two inclusive courses in the Education field: B.Ed. and M.Ed. Both the programs are of two years duration, providing extensive knowledge with practice teaching skills for the aspiring teacher. 

The admission procedure at VB College of Education shall be based on merit and shall be transparent. Admission to B.Ed. shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination as per the policy of the state government, UT administration, and the University. The same is the case with the M.Ed. course, where admission is made on the basis of merit, with marks in the qualifying examination, entrance examination, or any other selection process adopted according to the governing policies.
