We are in the process of writing a brief history of the Vel’s School of Hotel and Catering Management, Chennai which was set up in the year 1992, as a constituent college of Vels University. Situated in Pallavaram, Chennai this is an institution that focuses on providing hospitality education. The school is located over a large land space of 29.8 acres, which is important for provision of conducive environment and practical exercises. This institute has faculty members strength of only 11 and it provide 6 courses for three levels in hotel management, catering, and culinary arts.
