Situated at Porur, Chennai, this institution occupies the area of 8.5 acres of land. It is also recognised by the Central Council of Homeopathy (CCH), which means college complies with national standard for Homeopathy courses. Altogether, the enrolment of the college is 406 and the faculty is 31 which would maintain the good student faculty ratio for the college and good Climate for learning. The institution provides only one course, the Homeopathic Medical Course, better known as Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), with an approved annual student enrolment capacity of one hundred.

Venkateswara Homoeopathic Medical College has ample of means and resources that are intended to develop and promote the educational process as well as the students’ health. Library and information centre is well stocked with all essential books and different homeopathic medical journals. The course that is offered at Venkateswara Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, is the Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) only. This is a full time programme which has a total period of six years with an aim of training students in homeopathic medicines. The course has an intake capacity of 100 seats indicating the firms determination to uphold quality education as it expands its education sector to afford Qualification homeopathic practitioners. In this connection, course is designed in a manner that is geared toward providing homeopathy students with adequate theoretical background, as well as developing practical competencies needed for future efficient professional activity.
