First Grade College for VET was set up in 1996 and is situated in Bangalore, Karnataka. This affiliated college is co-educational and it provides several undergraduate as well as post graduate courses in various faculties. Certified by NAAC first-graders VET First Grade College has all the conditions to offer students quality education in the past 2.5 years. As a campus college, the institution occupies a small piece of land measuring 2.5 acres of land and at the moment the college admits 722 students and it has 18 faculty members. The institute teaches 8 courses across 7 degrees offering Commerce, Computer Applications, Business Administration, Fashion Design courses.

The college has recorded the provision of various productive infrastructure to foster academic activities. The updated library is the power house which provides knowledge in the form of words and books to the students. There are always new arrivals on the shelves; excellent, students and faculty use an online public access catalog for book searching. The college boasts of having fully equipped laboratory facility for computer, science and commerce stream. 

Some of these labs use the modern equipment making the learning experiences close to the modern real world. It includes specially identified and valued IT infrastructure which include a computer lab comprised of 54 desk tops, advanced Wi-Fi Intenet connectivity, projectors, and printers. This arrangement enhances general activities such as Computer-Aided Designing, Three Dimensional modeling, and coding.

VET First Grade College is well equipped to provide its patrons with a conducive learning environment as well as a wide choice of courses to suit the patrons’ individual preferences. The institute offers fifteen full time programmes out of which eight are undergraduate as well as postgraduate study options. For the under graduate, studies there are opportunities for a B.Com, BCA, BBA, BA, as well as B.Sc in Fashion and Apparel Design. For postgraduate courses it provides M.Com along with Postgraduate Diploma in Business administration and E-commerce. 

The college total student intake at courses level is 606 and this as a policy ensures that class sizes are kept small in order to enhance effective learning.
