Vidhya Vikas Plus The Institute of Education, Perambalur, was established in the year 2006 as one of the pioneer educational institutions situated in Perambalur, Tamil Nadu . It is a co-ed institution based in a 5-acre campus which is an affiliated college recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). In connection to teacher training, the institute provides a Bachelors in Education (B.Ed) programme for would-be teachers. The institute provides only one fully fledged course that is the Bachelors in Education, also known as B.Ed. This is a two-year programme with an approved intake of one hundred student teachers making it a crucial producer of teachers in the region. The B.Ed course has been intended to prepare students for teachers’ ship as given by the NCTE.
