The college called Vidya Niketan College of Engineering is situated in Ahmednagar and was established in the year 2012 as an affiliated college based in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. The institute is AICTE-approved, and it's related to various programs for engineering. The campus is spread over 10 acres with a total enrolment of 157 students along with faculty strength of 58. The college is committed to giving its best in technical education and creates an ambience for learning.

The canteen of the college addresses the dietary requirements of both the students and staff, while transport facilities have been maintained to ensure easy communication.

Vidya Niketan College of Engineering was set up in 1998 with a motive for offering a wide range of Engineering Programs to meet various career goals. The institute offers 13 courses which also include full-time Bachelor of Engineering programs along with diploma courses. Programs in BE course over Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Engineering. In addition to these, the college offers direct entry into the second year of these BE programs. To be more specific, the college provides a lateral entry option for these BE courses, through which diploma holders are qualified to directly enter the second year of the engineering course. Some other affiliations that the college has with regards to its diploma courses include Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering.
