Vidya-Niketan College of Pharmacy, Lakhewadi is an emerging institute of the country has been established in the year 2019. It is affiliated college situated in Lakhewadi, Maharashtra and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education and Pharmacy Council Of India. Situated in a limited area of 3.014 acres, the institute at present has provision for two pharmacy programmes and total intake capacity of 160. The college has a strong faculty of 6 persons and the college has an ideal student faculty ratio. Still young in its functional implementation, Vidya-Niketan College of Pharmacy has slowly groped its way in its endeavours of towards carving a niche in the totality of pharmaceutical education.

There is a clear policy formulated on the belief that Vidya-Niketan College of Pharmacy should facilitate a good learning environment for students. They have complex laboratories and well outfitted machine rooms which provides students real life experiences and research environments. The central instrumentation facility is useful for meeting the practical and research requirement of the students and Sophisticated Instrument Lab offers in house analytical facilities. The college library aims to: Encourage students and teachers to enjoy every factor of the literature experience. It has adequate numbers of stocks ranging from books, encyclopedias, magazines, newspapers, and eBooks among others. It also offers promise for developing students’ research and inquiry skills through offering the electronic resources. 

Vidya-Niketan College of Pharmacy provides only two fulltime courses in the discipline of pharmacy at the present. They are two years Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) with a total intake of 60 and four years integrated Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharma) course with 100 students’ intake. This means the programme has confirmed a total of 160 students from both programmes bearing in mind that the institute prides in itself as offering quality classes with limited number of students. Though, definite graduation statistics are not revealed, as the college has not been newly formed, but data suggests that the institute is currently on the right track of graduating its first batch of students. 

Admission procedures in Vidya-Niketan College of Pharmacy are very simple, as the college’s main priority is to ensure anyone is able to get in.
