Vignan Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Deshmukhi: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Vignan Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is an affiliated collegiate that operates in Nalgonda District, Telangana and under the Vignan Group of technical, Deshmukhi, founded in the year 2006. The institute is PCI approved and provides the pharmaceutical education in an auto intensive campus of 350 acres. The institute offers learning in a focused environment for the total number of 211 students with the help of 24 strong faculties. Vignan Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences has 3 courses to offer across a total of 2 degrees which are Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Analysis. This institute provides admission through scores obtained in TS EAMCET and is one of the few co-educational institutes prevailing in the country.

This institute maintains diverse provisions to meet the various needs of students in their academic and other endeavours. A digital/library centre is available as a knowledge base, and the air conditioned computational room helps students learn technological inventions. The establishment has specialised laboratories that the students use for practical learning purposes in pharmaceutical sciences. In as far as ones physical fitness is concerned, a gym and sports facilities are present. Vignan Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences also has hostels for boys and girls parties respectively to cater for the needs of the out station students. There is an air conditioned auditorium and different events including seminars to enable the overall learning. It also has a health centre with first aid kits, a cafeteria and a car park to meet the daily requirements of the students’ and employees.’ 

Vignan Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences has provide 3 own full course at the field of pharmacy for entire time. These comprise of one undergraduate course which is B.Pharma and two postgraduate courses to wit M.Pharma Pharmaceutics and M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Analysis. The total intake capacity approved to all the courses put together is 75, out of which 60 B.Pharma seats and 15 M.Pharma. By adopting such an approach they are able to provide an adequate student-instructor ratio, quality standard is also upheld.

The Vignan Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences management lays emphasis in admitting students based of merit. Admission for B.Pharma programme is totally based on EAMCET Rank of the candidate and for which it is known as TS EAMCET. It is an important qualification process for the interested students in pharmacy in this region. This also makes the admission process within the institute proper and fair since it accepts only TS EAMCET scores. Thus, for PG courses, despite having indicated that there are certain well-prescribed admission procedures, it is explained that the performance of the candidate in his/her undergraduate programme and entrance tests are taken into consideration.
