Post Basic B.Sc Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the nursing course offered by Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should have qualified in Diploma in Nursing and be a registered Nurse and Midwife in the Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council or any other State Nursing Council accepted by the authority of this University.
Candidate should have put in a minimum of one year of experience after registration in any teaching institution/hospital or as a full-time Public Health Nurse.
If the registration certificate cannot be obtained immediately, the original evidence for registration in the form of a receipt or any other authentication document from the office of the State Nursing Council will be accepted in lieu of the Registration Certificate. (Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council registration is a must).
A male nurse candidate registered with State Nursing Registration Council shall produce evidence of having been trained in any of the subjects approved by the Indian Nursing Council for the duration of the last 6 months in lieu of midwifery.
The candidate should be medically fit.
