Vijaya College of Nursing, Nellore, is established in the year 2004. It is a reputed college situated at Vissa Vavilettipadu, Dhanalakshmipuram. It is a co-education institute running on its 3 acres of the vast area. Besides these, the college is affiliated with Andhra Pradesh and is also approved by the Indian Nursing Council. M.Sc Nursing courses are also offered at this college in Community Health Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, as well as Paediatric Nursing, each with an intake capacity of 5 students. The 2-year Post Basic B.Sc Nursing programme accommodates 30 students, while the General Nursing and Midwifery course, also spread over a period of 4 years, has an intake of 30 students.
