Vikas College of Pharmacy, Vissannapeta was established in the year 2005 in Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh. This co-educational college is spread over 2.08 acres with an environment congenial for learning and research. VCOP offers a range of programmes in the Department of Pharmacy; it has 3 degree courses and 6 specialised courses with a student strength of 485 enrolments. The faculty strength is 40 experienced professionals, ensuring a very healthy student-faculty ratio.

Its intake capacity for the flagship programme, Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma), while that for the Diploma in Pharmacy. At the postgraduate level, VCOP offers specialised M.Pharma programmes in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Pharmacology. These programmes differ and cater to different interests in the pharmaceutical field, helping students work toward careers in these many different paths.

The admission process at Vikas College of Pharmacy considers the academic performance in the qualifying examinations and may conduct entrance tests of its own for its different programmes.
