Vishwanath Singh Mahavidyalaya, Chandauli, came into existence in the year 2014. It is an affiliated college in Gulariha, Purwa, Unnao district, Uttar Pradesh. The National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi, has approved it. This college runs various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The campus sprawls over 2.5 acres of land and houses this college. The total number of students enrolled currently is 257, with a faculty strength of 8 members.

At the undergraduate level, the institution offers the BA programme with 420 seats and the B.Ed programme with 100 seats. It offers postgraduate programmes in MA Sociology, Home Science, Hindi, and Education. 

In Vishwanath Singh Mahavidyalaya, the admission process varies for different courses. Admission to the B.Ed course is made purely on the basis of merit, taking into account the marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, as per the policy of the state government and university. In some courses, the college may also conduct its own selection process.
