VTU Regional Centre Mysuru or Visvesvaraya Technological University Regional Centre Mysuru is the affiliated institute. It established in Mysuru, officially known as Mangalore Palayam, while in Karnataka, this institution provides technical education in the region. The year of establishment is unknown but VTU Regional Centre Mysuru has been serving the cause of engineering education for years. The institute provides equal opportunity to both boys and girls in the country who aspire to be engineers.

VTU Regional Centre Mysuru has all the modern infrastructures required for a Beginning from the campus of the Regional centre to the Laboratories, GIS hall, Library, Hostel and playground, VTU Regional Centre Mysuru has all the necessary facilities that are essential to boost up the students’ all-round development. To this regard, the college has a practical and functional library that neatly avails learning resources to the learners and teaching staff. For those students who are interested in sports and gyms,  the institute has offered and has the provision of a sporting activity so that the students may have a balance of physical and academic activities. 

The college has good information technology resources; therefore, students are equipped with total IT solutions and resources required in the college. Faculty-wise laboratories provide practical sessions so that they get to practice all the theories they have learned. Also, there is the health centre in the institute that provides first aid in cases of sickness and the institute’s top priority is the students.

VTU Regional Centre Mysuru currently offers two full-time B.Tech programmes: And Computer Science and Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. These two programmes take four years to complete with the aim of giving the students all the knowledge and skills to practice in their given fields. These core engineering disciplines are evidence of the institute’s objective of producing professional engineers capable of handling the current market needs. Though detailed statistics concerning the total number of seats and the number of students that it has admitted are not available, the college seeks to create an environment that is most conducive to learning, with most, if not all, of the students being given their deserved student-teacher ratio.

The primary entry protocols commonly used by VTU Regional Center Mysuru are centralised by the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). This particular test is one of the most important examinations conducted at state level that helps candidates seeking admission into the different engineering colleges in the state of Karnataka including VTU Regional Center Mysuru.
