Vivekanand Mahavidyalaya, Bijnor was founded in the year 2003. This is an affiliated college situated in Darwara, Chandpur, Uttar Pradesh, sprawling over 5.08 acres of land, and is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education. It has an enrollment of students of approximately 2,167, with a faculty strength of 27, where the two major courses under its wing are B.Ed and B.Sc Biology. 

The college is well-supplied with facilities that make the learning experience beneficial for its students. There is a advanced library functioning as a knowledge house with a vast collection of books and journals concerning to the courses offered. It has an up-to-date, well-furnished, modern computer laboratory of which the college is proud.
