This affiliated college of Gondwana University, having its origin in the year 2008 and is located in Hiwarashram district of Maharashtra is known by the name Vivekanand Science College of Buldana. This institution is sprawling over an area of 6 acre offers quality education in the field of science. NAAC accredited college offers three Under Graduate programs to total 296 students strength. Our college provides the strength of 17 faculties that can provide focused attention towards the students. The primary emphasis of the Vivekanand Science College is on receiving scientific education and the college provides specialization in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Zoology, Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics. 

The college has a key commitment to ensure students study in an enabling environment and to have modern facilities for learning. It is well equipped with a number of reference books, e – journals and the Book bank facility for the students belonging to reserved categories. This means that the institution has well equipped and spacious laboratory for all practical for all practical oriented subjects as per student learning processes. Vivekanand Science College is offering three B.Sc full time courses each of them having a duration of 3years. Some of these programs are: B.Sc in Microbiology, Chemistry and Zoology- B.Sc in Biotechnology, Chemistry and Zoology- B.Sc in Computer Science Physics and Mathematics. Credit bearing courses for Diploma and Certificate programs have been approved to accommodate 40 students each cumulatively totaling to 120 student seats. This selective model permits the college to preserve high levels of education in specific scientific fields.
