Vivekananda College of Education, Purba Medinipur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

One of the relatively young institutions shaping the future of educators since 2015 is Vivekananda College of Education, situated in the Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal. This is a co-educational college in the village of Bajkul, an affiliated college, and is approved by NCTE. The institute provides a compact learning atmosphere within its compact campus of 0.93663 acres for its 248 enrolled students. It has an excellent student-faculty ratio of 24 dedicated and industrious faculty members to provide all students with personalized attention in imparting quality education in the field of teacher training.

The college has the following facilities for enhancing the learning process of students. The library is a rich knowledge hub, having multiple resources for the teaching aspirants. It has an excellent infrastructure for IT, which prepares the students for modern teaching during this digital era. Sports facilities have also been provided so that there will be holistic development among the students, with special concentration toward keeping the students fit physically while they pursue their own developmental growth. Thus, the campus cafeteria shall serve as a means to refuel and socialize. State-of-the-art laboratories are intended to enhance practical classes. Currently, Vivekananda College of Education offers just one focused course - the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). This two-year, full-time course aims at shaping competent and passionate teachers. 

Admission to Vivekananda College of Education is done in accordance with the state government and Vidyasagar University, Midnapur, policies. Candidates are admitted based on merit, with regard to their qualifying examination or entrance examination performance.
