Vivekananda Kendra College of Teacher Education, Nirjuli, was initiated in 2015, giving a beaming share of excellence in education. It is situated in Papumpare District as an affiliated college, shaping the future of the aspiring educators. With the approval of the National Council for Teacher Education, the institute has a strong B.Ed. programme. With an intake capacity of 100 students, the total student intake of the college stands at that number, while the faculty strength of the college is 11 to assure personal attention and qualitative education. The institutes are located in serene VKV Nirjuli Complex, hence providing an ideal environment for learning and growth. 

Vivekananda Kendra College of Teacher Education is one that is proud to claim it indeed has hi-tech facilities that enhance the learning experience of her students. Provisions have been made at the centre of these facilities through a well-stocked library that contains around 3,000 books on methodologies of teaching and prescribed syllabi. It has good collections of more than 35 journals, periodicals, and newspapers to encourage extensive reading and research. Vivekananda Kendra College of Teacher Education, Nirjuli, presently conducts a two-year full-time B.Ed. programme.  The approved intake is 100 which indicates the heterogeneousness of the aspiring teacher's batch.
