Vivekanandha College of Engineering for Women, an autonomous college started in the year 2001, is situated at Tiruchengode, Tamil Nadu. Located in a 26.16-acre area, VCEW has been established with the mission of offering quality education in engineering to women only. All programmes offered in this college are certified by NAAC and the technical programmes are approved by AICTE. VCEW has a total enrolment of two thousand and thirty-six students with one hundred and sixty-seven faculty members; it has 15 courses at two degree levels for several engineering fields.
Vivekanandha College of Engineering for Women has many modern facilities to supplement the academic atmosphere in the institution. The library has a collection of over 45,000 books and the number of journal subscriptions is 150 national and international journals for students and faculties. Modern computer centres, internet, & Wi-Fi facilities help the students get updated with the latest technology. Well-developed and well-facilitated laboratories, student-centred smart class rooms, and a vast auditorium with a seating capacity of 5000 for different academic and cultural activities are also part of this campus.
VCEW has 10 undergraduate courses in engineering, five postgraduate courses, and seven doctoral programmes of study. The intake capacity of the college is 1,499 students in all courses of the college taken together. A few of the top chosen undergraduate courses are BE—Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering each accommodating 120 students. Vivekanandha College of Engineering for Women (VCEW), Tiruchengode is a reputed autonomous institute which started its journey of offering quality engineering education. B.E./B.Tech Programs: VCEW conducts 10 undergraduate engineering programs, including popular programs like Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Information Technology. Admission to the engineering courses would be done either through state or national entrance examinations. The total intake across all courses is 1,499 students.
M.E./M.Tech Programs: The college offers 5 postgraduate engineering programs. They include Computer Science and Engineering, Biotechnology, VLSI Design, Power Systems Engineering, and Information Technology. Admissions for most of these programs mainly go through CEETA-PG. A few programs may accept the TANCET score.

The facilities and infrastructure is notable here. Our college has huge infrastructure and each department has separate block and lab facilities. In Computer labs we have continuous internet facility. In Library they have large number of books. We can get all the subjects references from our library and also have huge space to read. The Classroom is always clean and tidy. In hostel and also in canteen the quality of food is really good and they always maintained hygiene in all aspects.
In my college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. In laboratory all needed equipments are available in our college. Students shall wear decent dress in style reflecting cultured personality. On all days, they should wear chudidhar with shawl and on Fridays and college function days they may wear saree, White/Blue colour coat should be used during lab hours
