VJP College of Education, Siruganur, was started in the year 2006; it is located on the Trichy Chennai highway in Tamil Nadu, India. This affiliated college-approved NCTE is one of the shining examples of teacher education and quality teachers. Being a large plot of 5.87 acres of land, the institute provides a suitable climate for learning and development. VJP College of Education provides each learner with individual focus and competent teaching facilitated by 121 students and 9 faculty members. At present, VJP College of Education only provides a single full-time programme, the B.Ed. programme. This particular course is a two-year course with an approved intake of one hundred seats, though the management of the institute wants to expand admissions to accommodate a large number of intending teachers without compromising on quality. The B.Ed. course is developed with the aim of instilling the skills and knowledge in the students needed for a successful teaching profession.

The admission process at VJP College of Education remains purely on merit as per the biannual affiliated guidelines of the state government, U.T. administration, and university. Merit is determined in conjunction with the results demonstrated in the qualifying examination together with the entrance examination. The college may also use other methods of selecting the candidates as may be determined by the current policies.
