One of the premier institutions, established in 1947, located in Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, is V.P. and R.P.T.P. Science College, Anand. This co-educational institution is affiliated to the University and accredited by NAAC. It offers undergraduate and doctoral diverse courses in Science and Computer Applications. The college sprawls over 2 acres of campus with a total enrolment of 2,298 students, wherein distribution by gender is 62% male and 38% female. There are 64 dedicated faculty members at this institute, and it offers 22 courses at 3 degree levels with a specialization in the different fields of Science and Technology.

This college has taken pride in providing a host of facilities for the comfortable academic and personal growth of its students. There are separate, well-furnished boys' and girls' hostels for those who stay outside the city.
