West Godavari Institute of Science and Engineering (WISE) is one among the leading institutes in West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. It has several undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of engineering and management and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. The WISE admission process is largely entrance test-based at the state level. Admissions into B.Tech programs are carried out on the basis of scores obtained in Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET). Admissions into the MBA program are carried out on the basis of scores obtained in Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET).

For B.Tech programs:

For MBA program:

1. Attend APICET test.
2. Undergo APICET counseling if one is eligible.

For Category B admissions (30% seats):

1. Complete the application form directly to WISE according to the instructions and schedule given by the college.
2. Return all required documents and pay the application fee.
3. Proceed to any interview or selection as specified by the college.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: WISE offers B.Tech courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Data Science, and Mechanical Engineering. Admission process for B.Tech courses is as follows:

• 70% of seats (Category A) are allotted by the state government via AP EAMCET counseling.
• 30% of seats (Category B) are allotted by the institute according to guidelines developed by the state government.
• Another 10% of seats are for lateral entry into the 2nd year B.Tech course on ECET rank. This is for Diploma and B.Sc. degree holders.

MBA: MBA course in WISE is on the following admission process:

• 70% of seats (Category A) are under APICET counseling.
• 30% of seats (Category B) are by the college.
• The candidates should have at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying exam for Category B admissions.
