Coupled to the Pondicherry University, Pondicherry, Wisdom School of Management, Coimbatore was setup in 2010 and is located in the lively city of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Located over a small area of 1 acre of land, this B-School provides management education to the would-be managers. Currently, the school holds 92 students and 7 dedicated members of the faculty, offering a concentrated education option for students. The institute only has one programme on degree level, MBA, to ensure that it focuses on the issue of specialised management education.

It is with pride that The Wisdom School of Management provides students with a wide array of facilities that aim at improving the experience of the students. The campus has different hostel facilities for male and female students so that out station students can have a comfortable stay. This company targets health conscious guests and for this reason the hotel has a well fitted gym within the facility. The library plays prime role in the college to facilitate the students with plenty of resources for gathering knowledge. Taekwondo Hall, Gymnasium, Futsal Court, Basket Ball Court and Tenni sCourt I & II provides great opportunities for sports activities to complement their academics. It also has well equipped IT facilities which is very important for modern business school. A cafeteria is provided for the students’ and staff’s food requirement and laboratory facilities for practical knowledge. An auditorium is used for occasions and lectures; it enhances the community spirit on the college grounds. Student health is also of importance to the college to of which it has a medical that undertakes first aid treatment. The college has a guest house exclusively for the visitors there is another separate room provided for the guests now coming to the transport facilities the college transport facilities are available for the commuting students from both Pollachi and Udumalpet.

The institution is only offering MBA and only in a two-year – full time programme. Such an approach enables the institution to focus its scarce resources and stakeholders’ competencies effectively in production of a quality management education. It has been proposed that the programme would be able to admit ninety-two students, which, in total is the number of student that the institute can enrol. Due to this the classes are intimate, and this allows for attention to be focused on each student as well as promotes active participation thus training the students on how to handle the ever changing business management world.

Of special note, the Admission policy of Wisdom School of Management is developed to provide the institution with deserving students for management courses. Applicants are expected to have an acknowledged score in any of the centralised management tests including the CAT, XAT, MAT or CMAT. Also, a candidate may submit scores obtained in the state level Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test–TANCET. In relation to this, the multi-exam acceptance policy helps the institution to give chance to qualifying candidates with different performance profiles to undertake MBA at the institution. It may be noted that dates are not given for admissions but the candidate has to follow the particular exam schedule and the intimation by this institute timely for application submission.
