XIMD, the full name being Xavier Institute of Management and Design was established in 2014 in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh and offers specialization in specific stream of management. The XIMD was evolved with the full support and blessings of the group which operates the JIMS institute which is imparting skill based education since last more than twenty years. The institute provides three post graduate diploma in Management in Banking & Financial Services, and Management Research & Business Analytics. XIMD is recognised by AICTE and has 17 members in its faculty. The institute is coeducational, which means that students of both sexes are allowed and encouraged to join the institute to carry out their learning.

XIMD has basic structures to cater for the needs of the students, and helping them grow personally and academically. Library is an important information resource that provides specified information support for research and study. I also presented future observations such as; the IT facilities in the institute have been developed to the highest standards to support the technological development needed for student learning. There are laboratory learning centers which are professional in their practice bringing practical approaches to the learned theories. Those currently being offered at the institute are three full-time postgraduate diploma programs which take two years all through. This includes PGDM, PGDM in Banking and Financial Services and PGDM in Management Research and Business Analytics. Ideally, for each program, there is a set capacity of 60 students for a cumulative total of 180 across all programs and courses. This limited intake ensures that the trainees receive individual attention which convey a more intensive mode of learning. For the total graduates for the latest year, it was not stated clearly, however, the quality and standard of education offered in the institute is demonstrated by its courses, and facilities. 

The admission process is very selective with strict cut off criteria applicable for admission into the XIMD. The routine calls for passing one of the approved tests such as CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, and CMAT as a requirement for admission in the university’s programmes. The institute has set specific score requirements for these exams: At least 500 com composite score MAT/ATMA, 60 percentile CAT/XAT/CMAT.
