Xavier Law School Bhubaneswar is a constituent college of Xavier University with its vowed purpose of imparting quality education in the field of law. For the students, who want to deepen their knowledge, the school provides full-time and part-time programmes of Doctor of Philosophy in Law. The BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB Hons programmes are day–cum–evening courses/degrees and PhD courses are offered fulltime/part time. The total fee for the five year integrated programmes is around INR 8,65,000.

The admission of students to Xavier Law School is done in a manner that would ensure that the school admits only the best in to its programmes. For the combined BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) programmes Xavier School of Law accepts XEST or other central All India law entrance examinations such as CLAT, AILET etc. This approach mean that the students from different part of the country get a chance to be part of the institution. The school also accepts the CLAT PG scores for the PG admissions The CLAT PG makes the legal education option even more expansive for the young legal brains.
