Yairipok Universal College, Thoubal, was started in the year 1990 in Wangkhem Huidro, Manipur and is a co-education college. This affiliated college provides a wide choice of the undergraduate degree programmes in different fields. Located in a 16.7 hectare land, the college offers a good environment for learning. Keeping in mind student’s strength, the college has the strength of only 74 students and faculty strength is 23 that makes the college focused on personal student attention and quality education. The institution offers 5 courses in 3 degree bearing areas such as Computer Applications, Biotechnology & Physical Education.

The college has installed a number of amenities that can improve the learning accomplishment of students. Students are privileged to receive services from laboratories that meet departmental requirements to offer practical experiences. Yairipok Universal College as a whole provides five affiliated full-time undergraduate programmes. These include Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. All these programmes are prospectively aimed to be continuing for 3 years. The total intake is 74 for all the programmes which are offered.
