Yamuna Institute of Education, Yamuna Nagar, was established in the year 2015 as a co-educational affiliated college in Haryana. The institute is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education and imparts teacher education courses. Spread over a compact campus of 0.0935 acres, the institute has a total enrolment of 182 students and a faculty strength of 9 members. Yamuna Institute of Education is currently offering one-degree programs: specializations in the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). And, therefore, the concern for quality education gets projected through its state-of-the-art infrastructure and student-centric approach.

The institute provides a wide range of facilities to enrich the learning experience of students. There are separate hostels for both boys and girls managed under the supervision of a warden that assures a comfortable and safe living environment. The rooms are spacious and aerated with air coolers; some rooms have the additional facility of air conditioning. The library is an excellent knowledge resource center equipped with a wide variety of books, journals, and other digital resources. The Library subscribes to more than 180 national and international journals and magazines. Online access is also provided through the institutional membership of DELNET. It also has a well-equipped science laboratories where students can conduct physics and chemistry experiments on their own.

Currently, the institute offers one full-time course, the two-year B.Ed program with an approved intake of 100 students. This signifies the commitment of the institute in having a favorable student-to-teacher ratio. The B.Ed. course is aimed at providing the prospective teacher with the basic knowledge and relevant skills for an effective teaching profession. 

The admission procedure in Yamuna Institute of Education is based on merit, taking into account the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The institute follows the admission policy set by the state government, U.T. Administration, and the affiliated university.
