Yamuna Institute of Nursing was established in the year 2014. Yamuna Institute of Nursing is one of the best institutes for nursing education located in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana. The institute is a co-educational one and occupies an area of 4.2 acres. It also has approval from the INC. Total student enrolment is 318 with faculty strength of 31 students it provides 3 courses for 2 degrees. Yamuna Institute of Nursing focuses on the quality education of the following nursing programmes: BSc Nursing, ANM, and GNM, intending to meet emerging requirements to work in the healthcare sector.

The institute possesses adequate facilities and is well equipped with a wide range of facilities that go on to influence students in the realm of educational growth and all-round development. The institute has a well-stocked library that acts as a source of information. With the aid of this information centre, students can access significant collections in nursing literature and resources. A part of the campus comprises of well-equipped modern laboratories that are connected to the practical experience realized in the field of nursing. The institute offers separate hostel facility for boys and girls with comfortable living conditions. Inside the campus, health centre is available where first aid facilities are provided to the students so that students' health is so met correctly. Yamuna Institute of Nursing also offers all round education by making sports facilities and a gymnasium available for inculcating physical fitness in students. Yamuna Institute of Nursing offers a total of three full-time courses designed according to the varied needs of aspiring nursing professionals. The intake in total at the institute level is 110 students. The BSc Nursing Programme is four years' intake, with a seat of 40 seats. Secondly, it also had the ANM or auxiliary nurse midwifery programme, which is a two-year course. This was offered 40 seats also. The last one is GNM or General Nursing and Midwifery course; this is also four years' intake with 30 students as an intake. All these programs are designed in such a manner that the students learn skills and sufficient knowledge in the health sector.

Admissions to all the programmes are held differently. B.Sc Nursing: As per the rules, admissions are done on the basis of CET conducted by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. The seats under the Management Quota, constituting 25% of the sanctioned intake, shall be filled based on selections bearing CET merit ranking or the percentage of marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. The admission process for ANM/GNM is strictly on the basis of percentages obtained in the qualifying examination and a merit list is maintained accordingly. The institute does admissions in a clear and transparent way; thus, opens the doors to nursing education to those worthy candidates.
