Founded in 2013, the College of Agricultural Biotechnology is affiliated to the young organisation Yashodeep Samajik Vikas Sanstha located in Saralgaon, Maharashtra. This is a co-educational college with focus on agricultural biotechnology as a vale education of agricultural science as well as modern biotechnology. Located on a vast piece of land of about 45 acres, the college foster a great environment for learning and research. This is a four-year full-time program, but only has an approved intake of 40 students as a way of ensuring quality delivery of service through small class sizes as embraced by the college. The course provides learners with an understanding of biotechnology as an area of emphasis, with an application in the agricultural business. 

This paper looks at the process of admission into the B.Tech Biotechnology program, which is holistic and selective.
