Yashvir Memorial Technical Institute, Bhambhewa was set up in 2003 in Jind district of Haryana. The co-educational institute comes on a 5.2-acre campus with the avowed aim of providing quality technical education to aspiring engineers. YMTI is an affiliated college and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, thus holding up to the national standards of technical education. The total enrolment of students here is 280, and faculty strength is 40—thus, very conducive to a healthy student-teacher ratio.

The Yashvir Memorial Technical Institute has a whole range of facilities that are conducive to modern day education. One of the more impressive facilities of the institute is its IT infrastructure with its state-of-the-art computer centre fitted out with Pentium IV processors and the latest software. In addition, students get Internet connectivity throughout the day without any extra cost for easy access to Web resources. Laboratories for all streams are also well-equipped with a Physics laboratory adequately provided with a dark room for the study of optics. The fully computerised library is a powerhouse of learning and has a large collection of books, periodicals, journals, and e-resources in the form of CD-ROMs and video cassettes.

The Institution's commitment to the holistic development of the student community is reflected in its plethora of extracurricular facilities. This campus has spacious indoor and outdoor sports amenities such as facilities for badminton, cricket, football, etc. The Institute extends active support to the Student Sport Club that encourages students' participation in intra-mural and recreational programs. For the health and well-being of the students, YMTI offers a health center with first-aid facilities. The institute also has separate boys' and girls' hostels to ensure that outstation students are assured of a comfortable living environment. The institute offers a total of four diploma courses, all full-time programs with a duration of three years. These courses cater to different branches of engineering and medical technology, thereby opening a wide door to various career options. The total approved intake of all courses sums to 240 seats, wherein the Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology has the highest intake of 120 students.
