AKTU Counselling (On the basis of JEE-Main Rank) - Passed    10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as a compulsory subject and one subject from Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject, as per latest norms of AICTE/AKTU.Obtained at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the above subjects taken together.ORPassed 3 years of Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.B. The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent).For admission to first year of B.Tech. candidate must have clearly passed an intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University in each compulsory subjects and one optional subject as given in clause 3.1 (i) and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects. A candidate Passed Diploma (Engineering & Technology) with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) is also eligible for B Tech.Eligibility to appear in UPSEE  for admission to second year (lateral entry) of B.Tech.Lateral entry in B.Tech. for Engineering Diploma holders or B.Sc. Graduates with Mathematics as one of the subject at XII standard.
