Participants must have the fundamentals of medicine or have equivalent real-world experience with medical terminology, anatomy, and pathophysiology.
Certification Qualifying Details
To receive a certificate of completion, the participants must complete the course within the allotted time frame of 4 months or less. Students must score 70% or higher in all chapter exams, a passing score of 70% or higher in the final exam and an overall final course score must be 70% or higher.
After completing the Certified Professional Coder (CPC)® Online Training Course syllabus, the aspirants will learn about the principles of medical coding related to the three main code books such as CPT®, ICD-10-CM Code Set and HCPCS Level II. They will also learn about the business of medicine and an overview of ICD-10-CM.
