Stay ahead in your career with ICMR NvCCP Prescribing Skills course for Indian Medical Graduates from Swayam.
A test conducted upon first year resident doctors on their abilities of prescribing medicines showed results that concluded their prescribing skills as unprepared and potentially harmful. Prescribing medicines incorrectly can lead to a delay in recovery of the patient, a reaction from the drug or a greater risk for more harm. Thus, the Board of Governors (BoG) of Medical Council of India (MCI) referred to this course as a must for medical graduates.
ICMR NvCCP Prescribing Skills is brought to the candidates by the Indian Council of Medical Research and their expert faculties from many departments like Clinical Pharmacology and Preventive and Social Medicine (PSM) as a way to prepare the doctors of tomorrow by completely eradicating any sign of inadequacy in writing prescriptions from them today.
The course has been designed to clear every doubt that the candidates may have by using the Specified Learning Objectives (SLOs) from the MCI curriculum. It has also been reviewed and approved by the ICMR Technical Advisory Group with the help of clinical experts.
