Evaluation process

Eligible candidates need to pass two exam levels to receive the MSP Foundation and Practitioner certification course by Simplilearn. Firstly, candidates need to pass the MSP Foundation level exam. Only then, candidates can appear for the MSP Practitioner level exam. MSP foundation closed book has multiple choice questions with 75 questions per paper. You need to score at least 50 per cent to clear the test. The duration of the exam is 1 hour 60 minutes. 

MSP Practitioner is an open book exam with multiple choice questions. There are 8 questions per paper which you need to complete in 2.5 hours. You have to score a minimum 50 per cent to clear the test.

How can I become an MSP certified professional?

To become a certified MSP professional, you need to pass both the MSP Foundation and Practitioner certification exams accredited by Axelos. However, candidates need to pass the MSP Foundation level exam first to be eligible for the Practitioner level exam.

What is the validity of the MSP certificate?

The MSP Foundation certificate does not expire. However, the MSP Practitioner certificate needs to be renewed after five calendar years. To renew the certificate, you can either reappear for the MSP Practitioner certification exam before the expiry date or maintain the MSP Practitioner certification via digital badge and CPD points

Is the MSP Foundation and Practitioner certificate valid in all countries?

Yes, the MSP Foundation and Practitioner certificate is valid in most countries since it is an internationally recognised professional credential. 

Is the MSP exam an open-book test?
