You can enrol for the Emergency Medical Technician – Advanced course if you have completed your Class 12 from the Science stream or if you’ve just completed the Emergency Medical Technician-Basic course.
Furthermore, the course certificate will be awarded when you pay the full course fee, pass the pre-internship exam with 70% marks, and the clinical internship. You must also appear for weekly and module assessments and a final foundation and pre-internship exam. Having a minimum of 70% attendance is necessary to appear for these exams and an 85% attendance for the clinical internship.

Fill up the admission form, which can be taken from your nearest VIVO healthcare centre. Timings are Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM. You can even download the form online.
Submit the application form along with the following documents – 3 passport-sized photographs, Residence or photo identity proof documents, and previous education mark sheet or certificates as per your eligibility criteria (SSC/Degree/Intermediate)
Pay the required course fee, which can be deposited at the centre or through an online mode of payment.
The Emergency Medical Technician registration form will ask you details such as your full name, names of your parents, date of birth, caste category, religion, marital status, residential and email address, mobile number, Aadhaar number, passport no, pre-training status, education level, and banking details. Once you submit this form along with the required documents and pay the fees, you can reserve a seat.
You must appear for module-based assessments, weekly assessments, pre-internship exams and a final foundation exam to obtain the Emergency Medical Technician certificate. If you fail to achieve the qualifying score, you will have to appear for a remediation exam by paying a fee of Rs 1500.
