From communicating effectively and offering basic patient care in home settings to identifying and implementing emergency procedures in home settings, you will learn it all in this course. 

The Home Health Aide syllabus also familiarises you with infection control and safety measures. You are also trained to understand how immunisation works in community settings and the correct way of transferring the patients.

Furthermore, the course has a duration of 1.5 months or 360 hours of learning. It also includes 240 hours of theory and simulation with 120 hours of internship. Eligibility criteria

The Home Health Aide certification course eligibility criteria are pretty straightforward. All you need is to pass your Class 10, and you can enrol for the course. 

Furthermore, you are required to appear for the module-based and assessments. Besides, you must sit for the pre-internship exam and final foundation exam. Only those will receive a Home Health Aide certificate who pass the exam and clinical internship. 

Here, you should also have 70% attendance in your classes and 85% in the clinical internship for qualifying to appear for the tests.

  • Fill the admission form, which you can obtain from your nearest skill centre, open between Mondays and Saturdays from 9 AM to 5 PM. The form can also be downloaded online at https://vivohealthcare.com/media/pdf/admission-form-2018.pdf.  
  • Then, submit this admission form along with the relevant documents. 
  • Pay the required fees and secure a seat.

Filling the form

For the Home Health Aide programme, a basic registration form needs to be filled. For this, you need to provide details such as your full name, email address, mobile number, and password. Then, for the admission form (offline), you need to fill in your name, father's name, mother's name, marital status, contact number, blood group, gender, address, pin code, state, email ID, Aadhar number or enrolment no., pre-training status, and academic qualifications.

You must also offer your guardian's name, permanent address, and office and mobile number. Now, provide your bank details, including bank name, account no., IFSC code, and the bank branch, to proceed with Home Health Aide training enrolment. Sign a student declaration, submit this form and the other documents, and make the fee payment to secure a seat. 

Evaluation process

You must appear for the pre-internship exam and final foundation exam to secure the passing marks to get the Home Health Aide course certification. If you don’t qualify in one go, you can sit for the remediation exam by paying a fee of Rs. 1500.
