Students must have a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) marks on aggregate in his/her 10+2 level.
Students must complete his/her Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B. Com, B.Com Hons) from a recognized board/ university/ institute.
Students willing to choose a career in banking and insurance sector, he/she may opt to either choose commerce at the UG level. However, there are some professional courses available such as CFA, ICI, and ICAI, etc. Given below are the top entrance exams to pursue banking and insurance courses:
CUET (Christ University Entrance Test):- Christ University Entrance Test is conducted every year to take candidates in different UG courses along with B. Com in International Finance, B. Com (Hons), and B. Com (Professional) courses.
DU JAT (Delhi University Joint Admission Test)- Delhi University Joint Admission Test is an All India level entrance test conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) for Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) and BA (Hons) in Business Economics programs in different colleges affiliated to Delhi University. The exam is conducted online in 20 cities all over India on Quants, Reasoning, General English, GA, and Business.
AMU Entrance Exam- Aligarh Muslim University Entrance Exam is organized by the university to select the eligible candidates for admissions to its undergraduate courses. There are two types of entrance tests available here, i.e., university-level tests and departmental tests. The entrance exam is a pen-paper based test for all courses.
JMI Entrance Exam- Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University takes the Jamia Millia Islamia entrance exam to select candidates for admission in various UG courses including Commerce. The national-level entrance exam is conducted in every ear, and it is a pen-paper based test.
Banking and Insurance exam for PG courses:
BHU PET (Banaras Hindu University Postgraduate Entrance Test)- Banaras Hindu University Postgraduate Entrance Test (BHU PET) is an entrance exam for admissions to the PG programs available along with postgraduate programs in Commerce.
Other than the above-mentioned exams, there are some courses like a diploma, part-time, and online certification courses are available in banking and insurance sectors where the respective institute conduct their entrance exam.
