A Bachelor of Science degree is awarded to a student who has completed courses which normally take three to five years to complete. A bachelor's degree in applied science (B.Sc. in Applied Science) is considered to be a highly advanced undergraduate degree programme.
A Bachelor in Applied Science requires an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree, a minimum of four years of career advancement or advanced classes in an appropriate area, technical certification programs or appropriate military training, and two years of college courses.
A two-year degree is referred to as an associate degree and may be either an Associate of Arts (AA) or an Associate of Science (AS). It is different from a bachelor's degree which needs four years of study. Students can be awarded associate degrees from national, technical and other universities.
Applied science essentially makes practical application of scientific knowledge. Associate students of applied science degree programs find employment as technicians, drafters, and engineers as well. They also find careers as therapists and technicians in healthcare.
A BAS is generally a career/field center and is normally a terminal degree but sometimes not. It is not rare for the Bachelor in Applied Science to have fewer criteria for basic education than the BS and BA levels. The BAS is attractive to employers, but it may not be quite as useful as the BS or BA.

Hello Aspirant,
No, here starting of two consecutive years is to be considered from the passing year of class 12th or equivalent, so if you have passed class 12th in 2021 then two consecutive years allowed for you will be only 2021 and 2022.
This is because maximum attempts allowed for JEE-Advance is 2 in 2 consecutive years, first attempt in the passing year of class 12th or equivalent examination and second attempt in very next year to that. Similarly for JEE-Main maximum attempts allowed for JEE-Main is 3 in 3 consecutive years, first attempt in the passing year of class 12th or equivalent examination and second attempt in very next year to that followed by third attempt in third year.
