BPT MPT or Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Masters of Physiotherapy is an integrated degree programme. The course duration is generally six and a half years. The course consists of 12 semesters with a compulsory internship in the last year. While specific colleges may offer a D.P.T. (Diploma in Physiotherapy) through correspondence, you cannot do a B.P.T. M.P.T. integrated degree programme through distance learning.

Yes, to pursue a two-year-long Masters in Physiotherapy, a candidate must earn their undergrad B.P.T. degree.

3. Can I complete a B.P.T. M.P.T. integrated programme in three years?

No, you have to put in 6.5 years to complete a B.P.T. M.P.T. degree. Completion of the B.P.T. degree alone takes 4.5 years.

One of the essential qualifications you must meet in order to be eligible to pursue an MD is an MBBS degree. After getting a BPT, you cannot pursue an MD. However, there are a number of important sectors where you might pursue a master's degree in physiotherapy, such as neurology, cardiology, orthopaedics, and sport sciences. These well-liked disciplines are all offered in combination by universities in India.

Sadly, you cannot practise medicine in acupuncture.
