The Bachelor of Social Work + Bachelor of Law is split into five years with two semesters each year. This is an integrated law course, meaning students can pursue a bachelor's degree in social work along with a law degree. However, if students wish to pursue only an LLB course, they first need to complete an undergraduate degree separately.

The integrated programme deals with social work and related areas. The programme has been designed to teach students in fields such as legal aid, legal procedures, the law of contract, and company and labour law. As it combines both social work and legal studies, it is also known as an undergraduate law degree.

Students of the General Category (GEN) who wish to enrol in this programme need to attain at least 45 percent marks in 10+2. Aspirants who belong to the SC/ST category require 40 per cent marks in 10+2 to qualify for the entrance exam. Please note that candidates who have already appeared for their class 10+2 exams, and are awaiting results, or aspirants who have already received their 10+2 marks are eligible for the BSW LLB entrance test.

What is BSW LLB Full Form?

BSW LLB is the abbreviation of Bachelor of Social Work -Bachelor of Legislative Law. It is a combined integrated degree programme. Individuals who complete the BSW LLB programmes are awarded with dual degrees for Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of Legislative Law.

As the name suggests, the B.S.W. portion of this integrated programme includes subjects like – social science, sociology, political science, economics, public health, public policy. This programme deals with social work and areas allied to it. • There is no maximum age limit for pursuing a law degree in India.
