There is no type of M.Ed. Special Education degree. One can pursue it after completion of B.Ed (Bachelor’s of education).

IGNOU M.Ed Special Education Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for admission M.Ed special education is, candidates should have completed their B.Ed in special education or its equivalent degree which should be approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) with a total aggregate of 50% marks and should have two years of professional/ teaching experience. The minimum duration of completion of M.Ed special education is two years and the maximum is four years.
