  • Candidates must hold a degree in BVSc and AHB from a university recognised by the Veterinary Council of India.
  • They must have secured a minimum of 55 per cent marks or 6.0 CGPA (5.5 for SC/ST candidates) in graduation. For SC/ST category students, there is a 5 per cent relaxation in the minimum passing marks. This percentage requirement may differ for each institute.
  • Some institutes have an age limit of 20-22 years whereas some other institutes have set the upper age limit as 35 years.

MVSc Course Duration

The duration of the MVSc is two years. The MVSc course covers veterinary medicine, veterinary microbiology, livestock economics, animal genetics, and breeding. The duration of two years is divided into four semesters.
