Hello,

MBBS Admission :

  • With 200 marks in NEET, it is unlikely to get admission in an MBBS course at government medical colleges, especially in highly competitive states.
  • Private medical colleges may offer admission, but the fees will be much higher.
  • Cutoffs for MBBS vary, but a score of 200 generally falls below the cutoff range for most top medical colleges.

BAMS Admission :

  • BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) has lower cutoffs compared to MBBS.
  • A score of 200 might be sufficient for BAMS in some government or private Ayurvedic colleges, depending on the state and category.

Hope it helps !

Hello,

Yes, if you fall into a reserved category, you can be admitted to BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) with a NEET score of 200 to 300. However, the 15% all-India quota may make it challenging to gain admission to a reputable BAMS college. In your state or another, you might be able to gain admission to a private college.
The general category's NEET 2024 BAMS cutoff is between 720 and 162, while the SC/ST/OBC categories' is between 161 and 127.
